A small spot located on one of the most recognisable streets of Poznan – Wroclawska Street. You’re gonna taste here the Raclette cheese combined with potatoes and vegetables. Another sushi restaurant on a gastronomic map of Poznan. But in this place is not dominated by Japan, because here sushi masters are taking you in the direction … of Korea. In the menu you will find also lunch offer. UMAMI has bright interiors, spacious, but still cozy tatami room, and business room. It is fresh, tasty and aesthetical, so be sure to check it out!
3/ KRAFT, SŁOWACKIEGO 27
Meat, meat and mooooore meat! According to the information provided on their fanpage – they cook there according to the principle “from head to tail.” Maurycy, who takes care of the dishes, is a kind of meat virtuoso and each dish from his hands deserves an applause. You will eat here home-sausage, pulled porks or many delights hidden in the name of “meat dish.” By the way, you can also take a brief chat with the founder of the place – Hania.
4/ OWACJA SLOW, Rynek Jeżycki 3
The tiny, little place located on Rynek Jezycki. Every day, the owners – girls with huge smiles and big hearts, take care of the guest and delicious food. Updated daily a lunch card is a culinary journey, that every foodie deserves. Visiting Owacja, you have to try a house specialty – “podpłomyki” with different additives. A great asset of the place is also… the dessert. If anyone in this place will offer you something sweet, DO NOT refuse!
5/ SHRIMP HOUSE, Al. Marcinkowskiego 16
Bar with shrimps as a main role? That’s a news for us! Located in the center of Poznan, the place is dedicated to all the sea-food lovers. Shrimps are prepared here in many different ways – with garlic, fried in tempura, with curry and pineapple or with sweet potatoes are attracting more and more foodies! It is worth to remember that this is not a restaurant, but just a bar, so the orders are made there at the counter, and the atmosphere of the place is highly informal. We like it, really!
6/ NUTS & BERRIES, Pleszewska 1, Galeria Posnania
The new concept of Weranda Family and by the way… the gastronomic gem in the Posnania shopping mall. The dishes are focused on the super foods and the latest nutritional trends. Perfect for those people, who care about what they eat or those who regularly run to the gym. For breakfast, be sure to try the smoothie bowls – we recommend you the one with black currants and blackberries, and for dinner – order the salmon with caramelized shallots in beet juice, peanut with pearl barley and roasted beets.
7/ FORNI ROSSI, Naramowicka 92
Like a phoenix from the ashes, Forni Rossi again showed up in Poznan. The only place where you eat Neapolitan pizza, made of carefully selected products straight from sunny Italy. The restaurant is going to prepare many innovations, among them the feast of the feasts – the spaghetti carbonara prepared on a big, 19-pound parmesan. Among the winter hits, you’re gonna find new pizzas! Yummy!
